Marcia Winfrey Hume, 85, of Bardstown, died Sunday October 25, 2015 at her residence.

Her Visitation will be 3pm-7pmCT, 4pm-8pmET, Friday October 30, 2015 at Barlow Funeral Home, 2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY. Graveside services will be 2pmCT, Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Burkesville Cemetery, Burkesville, KY.

She was born October 19, 1930, raised in Marion, Crittenden County, Kentucky. She died Sunday, October 25, 2015, in Bardstown, Nelson County, KY, at the age of 85 years, six days.

She retired music school teacher for Bardstown City Schools, former member of Bardstown Community Theater, and a member of Bardstown United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Delmas Hume; parents, W.R. and Lera Winfrey. She is survived by the following:
  • her daughter: Carol Hume Ashley of Los Angeles, California

  • Step-daughter: Brenda Hume White of Central Indiana

  • Sister, Cathy Bell of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

  • And two step-grandchildren
