Ms. Gloria Daisy Gilbert, age 64, of Franklin, Kentucky, formerly of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015, at her residence in Franklin.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, October 30, 2015 at 1pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Lanny Garner officiating. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pmNoonCT, on Thursday, October 29, 2015, until the funeral hour on Friday.



Ms. Gloria Daisy Gilbert, 64, Cumberland Co. KY native (1951-2015)


She was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Tuesday, February 13, 1951, the daughter of Russell Keith and Mary Edna (Hughes) Gilbert. She died Monday, October 26, 2015, in Franklin, KY, at the age of 64 years, eight months, and 13 days.

She was a member of Highland Chapel United Methodist Church and a Seamstress for Bob Evans Manufacturing.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Keith Gilbert; and her nephew, Victor Brooks Gilbert.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Edna (Hughes) Gilbert of Burkesville, Kentucky, and the following:
  • Her sons: Christopher Isenberg of Burkesville, Kentucky and Brian (and Christina Hope) Isenberg of Franklin, Kentucky

  • Her brothers: Roger (and Jennifer) Gilbert of Hilham, Tennessee and Timmy Gilbert of Burkesville, Kentucky

  • Four grandchildren: Hadeon Wraine, Leslie Ann, Raymond Christopher, Rachel Fae

  • And one great- grandson, Alax
Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
