Arthur Lee Fillippinie, 84, of Russell Springs, died Friday, October 23, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral service for Arthur Lee Fillippinie will be 2pmCT, Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY. with Bro. Billy Dunbar officiating. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Tuesday. Interment in the Bernard Cemetery with full military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard. Special Music will be rendered by Bobby Dunbar.



Pallbearers: Neil Bell, Kevin Bell, Troy Downey, Jason Crouch, Fred Holder, and Todd Holder.

Arthur Lee Fillippinie, 84, Russell Co., KY (1931-2015)

He was born June 22, 1931 in Williamsburg, KY. He was the son of the late Angelo & Myrtle Bray Fillipinie. He died Friday, October 23, 2015, at the age of 84 years, four months, and one day.

He was a Veteran of US Army and a 50 year member of Russell Springs Masonic Lodge #941 F&AM. He was retired from Amtrack Railroad. Survivors include:
  • Wife: Jenny Holder Fillippinie, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sons: Arthur Craig (Tammy) Fillippinie, Jamestown, KY; and Martin Scott Fillippinie, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Angel (Jason) Crouch, and Jason Fillippinie

  • Eight great grandchildren

  • One sister: Ruby Quinn, Michigan

  • One brother: Albert Fillippinie, Harlan, KY
