Christine Janes Froedge age 75 of Glasgow passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT, Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Smith Cemetery at Sulphur Well, KY. Visitation will be from 5pmCT until 8pmCT Tuesday, October 20, 2015, and after 9amCT, Wednesday at the funeral home.


Christine Janes Froedge, 75, Glasgow, KY (1939-2015)


She was the daughter of the late William Rimey and Clora Dee Fields Janes. She was born December 16, 1939. She died October 17, 2015, at the age of 75 years, 10 months, and one day.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: David Froedge and wife Karen of Munfordville, KY; and Johnathan Froedge and wife Tiffany of Bowling Green, KY

  • Three daughters: Kathy Froedge of Glasgow, KY; Linda Sifuenties of Horse Cave, KY; and Carol Glass and husband Jeff of Cave City, KY

  • Two sisters" Judy Goodell of Paw Paw, MI; and Gracie Janes of South Haven,

  • Fourteen grandchildren

  • Eighteen great grandchildren

  • Five great great grandchildren
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Froedge; a sister Patsy Garmon; and a grand daughter Kattie Benavides.
