Adair Co. Caregiver Support Group holds organizational meeting Next meeting: The Adair Co. Caregiver Support Group meets the first Wednesday of the month and is a place where caregivers can reach out to others as well as getting information about resources. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the UK Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY at 11amCT. Hope to see this group grow. Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Annabelle Burkett Adair County Support Group held it's meeting today, Wednesday, October 7, 2015, introducing Sonya Caldwell, from LCADD SHIP program who presented information about Medicare and criteria for extra help to pay copays. She also reminded everyone that Medicare Open Enrollment period starts October 15, 2015. Everyone should check their plan in case medications have changed or have a new diagnosis. She is available to assist anyone who has questions and can be reached at (270) 866-4200. A huge thank you to Westlake Regional Hospital for offering a community space to meet and to HealthSouth Lakeview Rehabilitation Hospital for facilitating the group and providing lunch today.
