Mr. Raymond W. Perkins, 73, of Green County, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, October 2, 2015 at his home in Green County.

There was a graveside services held at 11amCT, Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the Bennett Cemetery. Bro. Dan Perkins officiated.

Mr. Raymond W. Perkins, 73, Green Co., KY (1941-2015)


Mr. Raymond W. Perkins of Green County, Kentucky, was the son of the late Elmer Willis Perkins and Dorothy Estelline Talbert Perkins. He was born on November 17, 1941 in Henry County, Illinois, and departed this life on Friday, October 2, 2015 at his home in Green County. He was 73 years, 10 months, and 15 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was an Archeologist for the Center for American Archeology at North Western University, and a member of the Green County Genealogy Society . He was also a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army.

Survivors include:
  • A daughter: Dawn Marie Sargent of Griggsville, Illinois

  • Two grandchildren: Kelsey Michelle Sargent, and Macey Leanna Sargent both of Illinois

  • His former wife: Nancy Daniel of Pittsfield, Illinois

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Bennett Cemetery, which can be made at the funeral home.
