Jerome Harris, Jr., 92, Taylor Co., KY (1923-2015) He had a 20 year career in the U.S. Navy, after which he worked for Shell Oil Company before retiring. He was a native of Carter County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Jerome G. and Maholy Katherine Wampler Harris. His wife, Pauline Harris, survives. He was the son of the late Jerome G. and Maholy Katherine Wampler Harris. After a twenty year career in the U.S. Navy, he worked for Shell Oil Company until retiring. Besides his parents, Jerome was preceded in death by his isters, Nilace Bower, Emma Wampler and Mary Louise Wampler and a brother, Richard Harris. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Harris of Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
