Jean Garrett, Bradfordville, KY (1947-2015)

She was a native of Casey County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County, KY, at the time of her death. Jean professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She was the daughter of the late Roy Carter & Carrie Slinker carter. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Stanley Garrett. She leaves 16 direct living descendants.

Jean Garrett, 68, of Bradfordsville, KY, died at 11:45amET, Saturday, September 19, 2015, in Campbellsville. KY.

The funeral services will be at 12pmCT/1pmET, Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. John Batcher. Burial will be in Tallow Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9amCT/10amET, at the funeral home.


Jean Garrett, Bradfordville, KY (1947-2015)


Jean professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She united in marriage to Stanley Garrett November 20, 1961.

Besides her husband, Stanley Garrett of Bradfordsville, she is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and two sons: Kathy Bagby and husband, Charles, Ronnie Garrett and wife, Tonya of Campbellsville, KY and Roger Garrett and wife, Tammie of Bass Ridge, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • four great-grandchildren

  • Three sisters: Laura Garrett of Campbellsville, KY; Deloris Marcello and Joyce Emerson of Tampa, Florida

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Raymond Carter, Duke Carter and Inez Nunn.
