Jean professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She was the daughter of the late Roy Carter & Carrie Slinker carter. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Stanley Garrett. She leaves 16 direct living descendants.
