Sillar Harmon, 72, Adair County, KY (1943-2015) Mrs. Harmon attended the Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Church and was a certified nursing assistant and homemaker. She was a native of the Bloomington area of Adair County, KY, and was a resident of the area at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Charlie White "Toad" Harmon and Clara Opal Burton Harmon. She leaves 31 direct living descendants. The funeral service to be held Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ralph Foster the officiating clergy. Visitation will begin after 4pmCT, Friday, September 18, 2015, at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the Bearwallow Cemetery. She died Thursday, September 17, 2015, in Christine, Adair County, KY, at the age of 72 years, five months, and 14 days. Mrs. Harmon attended the Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Church and was a certified nursing assistant and homemaker. She was preceded in death by one son J.C. Burton in 1967, and by these siblings: Leonard Thomas Harmon, George Dudley Harmon, Verlin Arthur Harmon, Ervin W. Harmon, Jewell Edna Burton and Catherine Bryant. She is survived by the following:
