Scenic Russell County, KY: Goldenrod between Crocus and Bryan If you have a chance for a Daytrip, there isn't a prettier one today than South on KY 55 to Crocus and on to Bryan, then back to the Hale's Highway Crossroads and a left (N) back to Columbia. In case you don't have time to go, here's a very brief video of Goldenrod blowing in the wind, with the only sounds that of the wind, blustering occasionally and an occasional cricket and a lone dog joining in. For the record, I don't think I've ever seen goldenrod more beautiful than it is this year. - Linda Waggener This story was posted on 2015-09-15 14:08:24
