CBC will host Operation Christmas Child Kick-Off

By Joyce Durham
News from Columbia Baptist Church

Columbia Baptist Church, 201 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, will be hosting the county Operation Christmas Child Kick-Off on Sunday, September 20, at 6:30pmCT. Area churches are invited to come and receive information on filling OCC shoeboxes that will be shipped to children all over the world.

OCC, a project of Samaritan's Purse and president, Franklin Graham, has touched the lives of millions of hurting children since 1993 by the distribution of gift-filled shoeboxes, while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world. Many churches, organizations, and individuals participate in this program every year by providing toys and hygiene items to children who otherwise would not experience Christmas.

Collection of all boxes will be from Monday, November 16, through Friday, November 20. - Joyce Durham
