Lizzie Conner, 97, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away on Thursday September 10, 2015, at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home, Jamestown, KY.

Funeral Services for Lizzie Conner will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, on Monday, September 14, 2015, at 3pmCT, with Bro. Billy Dunbar officiating. Friends may visit after 1pmCT on Monday, at the funeral home. Burial in the Jamestown City Cemetery. 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY


Lizzie Conner, Russell Springs, KY (1918-2015)


Lizzie was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, on February 11,1918. She was a daughter of the late Nettie (Brumley) and Baugh Russell. She died Thursday, September 10, 2015, at the age of 97 years, six months, and 30 days.

She was a seamstress at Russell Sportswear.

The widow of Harlan Conner.

Lizzie is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harlan Conner, three brothers Clarence, Melvin and Olis Paul Russell, six sisters Vertie Mae Pierce, Hallie Thurston, Fadra Conner, Hazel Brumley, Callie Craig, and Estelle Choate.
