Laverne Grider, age 78 year(s), 10 month(s), 6 day(s) of Russell Springs, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT, Friday, September 11, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, Kentucky with Bro. David Coffey officiating. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Separate Baptist Church Cemetery, West Highway 80, Russell Springs, Kentucky. Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, 2015 5pmCT till 9pmCT at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, Kentucky.

She was born on Tuesday, November 3, 1936 in Russell Springs, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Willie Ray Harmon and Zola Mae Simpson Harmon. She died Tuesday, September 8, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 10 months, and five days.

She is survived by her husband, Elvin Grider, Russell Springs, Kentucky, and the following:
  • Three daughters: Debbie Grider, Pamela Johnson, and Kathy Rabbeth, all of Columbia, Kentucky

  • Two sons: Ricky Grider, Russell Springs, Kentucky and Kevin Grider, Columbia, Kentucky

  • Four grandchildren

  • Four great-grandchildren
