Mr. Stanley Pace Keen, age 73, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 1pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 2pmCT, on Friday, September 11, 2015 until the funeral hour on Saturday.


Mr. Stanley Pace Keen, 73, Cumberland Co., KY (1942-2015)


He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on Monday, January 5, 1942, the son of Maurice Clifton "Doc" Keen, Sr. and Patty Nell Pace Keen. He died Monday, September 7, 2015, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 73 years, eight months, and two days.

He was a member of Burkesville Baptist Church and a Self-employed Builder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, M. C. "Little Doc: Keen, Jr. and his sister, Patty Pace "Teencie" Keen Cash. He is survived by the following:
  • His son: Christopher Todd (and Lisa) Woolston of Virginia Beach, Virginia

  • His sisters: Rebecca "Becky" (and Sam Dudley) Gray of Burkesville, Kentucky; Mary Pace (and Jack) Grant of Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts

  • And his grandchildren: Danielle, Asja, Kayla and Taylor Woolston.
Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of funeral arrangements.
