Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Gentry of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on September 2, 2015 at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill, Greensburg, KY.

There were graveside services held for Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Gentry at 10amCT, Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Bro. Roger Moran will be officiating. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main, Greensburg, KY was in charge of the arrangements.

She was the daughter of the late Montie Clarence Bryant and Mary Susan Benningfield Bryant. She was born on March 13, 1929 in Taylor County, KY. She departed this life on September 2, 2015, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 86 years, five months, and 20 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, and was a former presser for Campbellsville Laundry.

She united in marriage to Verlon Gentry who preceded her in death on March 9, 1997.

Survivors include:
  • A brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Gerthie and Betty Jane Gentry of Greensburg, KY; and Ruby Keith of Campbellsville, KY

  • and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Gentry was also preceded in death by two sisters: Catherine Mikel and Ruth Richardson.
