Patricia Ann Burton, 60, Adair County, KY (1955-2015)

She attended the Bloomington Chapel Church. She was a beloved employee of Holmes Bend Boat Dock for about the last 20 years. She was a native of Columbus, Ohio, and a resident of Adair County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of Essie Jean Preece Moore, who survives, and the late Billy Jean Moore. She leaves 17 direct and three step living descendants

Patricia Ann Burton age 60 years of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 4:30amCT, at Taylor County Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY, following a battle with lung cancer and pneumonia.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 10amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Terry White the officiating clergy. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be after 3pmCT, Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at the funeral home.

She was born on Friday, June 10, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of Essie Jean Preece Moore of Columbia, KY & the late Billy Gene Moore. She died Sunday, August 30, 2015, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 60 years, two months, and 20 days.

Besides her mother she is survived by her husband Woodrow "Woody" Burton of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Three daughters: Tanya (Joseph) Sebek of North Ridgeville, OH; Bobbie Jo (Brett) Russell of Columbia, KY; and Christina (Roy) Coffey of Columbia, KY

  • One son: Robert (Cora) Brady of Columbia, KY

  • Three step-children: Shannon (Douchy) Matthews of Columbia, KY; Amanda (Robbie) Janes of Columbia, KY; and Nelson (Leslie) Burton of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Ron Moore of Brocklyn, Ohio

  • One sister: Pamela Moore of Bristow, VA

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
She attended the Bloomington Chapel Church. She was a beloved employee of Holmes Bend Boat Dock for about the last 20 years.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Brown Cancer Center in Campbellsville, KY; and may be made at the funeral home.
