Benchmark Family Services is sponsoring a Drive for Dignity.

Please join us in trying to restore a little dignity to the abused and neglected youth in our area who are removed from their homes with their belongings in garbage bags and cardboard boxes. You can help by donating new or gently used items to move and/or store children's belongings in. Items most needed are: suitcases, duffle bags, backpacks, and all size plastic totes.

We plan to "stuff" these bags with a few items to help kids with the transition into a new placement. Some suggestions for donations are: (Items for boys and girls age 0-18 years) small stuffed animals, books for all ages, Bibles, coloring books/crayons, fuzzy blankets/throws, devotional books, bubbles, hair accessories, match box cars, stationary sets, chapstick, disposable cameras, art supplies, sticker sets, playing cards, encouraging letters, nerf balls, mittens/scarf, toothbrushes, toothpaste, play-doh, small games, puzzles, hygiene items.

All items should be small enough to fit in a small suitcase.

Contact any staff member at 270-385-6092 for questions, or for item pick-up. Items can be dropped off at Benchmark Family Services, 363 Office Park Drive, Suite 203, Columbia, KY. - Beverly Burton Therapeutic Support Specialist Intake Coordinator, Benchmark Family Services, 363 Office Park Drive, Suite 203 Columbia, KY.
