Kenneth Durham, 84, Yosemite, KY (1931-2015)

He was a former employee of American Greetings, Farmer, formerly served on the Casey County School Board and a member of House of Prayer. He was a native of Yosemite, KY, and a resident of the community at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Elmer Coker and Mary Marie Goforth Durham, and the widower of Matrie Haste Durham. He leaves 22 direct and three step living descendants.

Noel Kenneth Durham, age 84 of Yosemite, KY, passed away on Thursday August 27, 2015 at the Casey County Hospital, Liberty, KY.

Funeral Services will be held 12pmCT/1pmET, Monday August 31, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY. Bro. Wayne Naylor officiating. Burial will be in the Durham Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Sunday August 30, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.


Kenneth Durham, 84, Yosemite, KY (1931-2015)

He was born in Yosemite, Casey County, KY on February 23, 1931. He was the son of the late Elmer Coker and Mary Marie Goforth Durham. He died Thursday, August 27, 2015, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 84 years, six months, and four days.

He was a former employee of American Greetings, Farmer, formerly served on the Casey County School Board and a member of House of Prayer.

Survivors include:
  • Two sons: Ed and (Mary) Durham and Kenny Durham both of Yosemite, KY

  • One daughter: Marsha and (Mike) Brown of Hustonville, KY

  • One daughter-in-law: Pam Durham of Moreland, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Two step-grandchildren

  • Twelve great-grandchildren

  • One step-great grandchild

  • One Brother: Shannon Durham of Yosemite, KY
Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by his spouse, Matrie Haste Durham; one son, Mike Durham; one sister, Deva Vance; and one brother, Edward Durham.
