Opal Ann Minton, of Jamestown, KY passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY. She was 45.

Funeral services are 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, August 30, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Wayne Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Jennie's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 11amCT/12pmNoonET, until funeral service.


Opal Ann Minton, 45, Jamestown, KY (1970-2015)


Born April 18, 1970 in McCreary County, KY, she was the daughter of Mabel Minton of Windsor, KY. She died Thursday, August 27, 2015, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 45 years, four months, and nine days.

She was a member of Jennie’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Other survivors include:
  • A son, Benjamin George Lutz of Campbellsville, KY

  • Ex-husband and the father of her son: Eric Lutz of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two brothers: Dale Minton of Russell Springs, KY; and Lee Hensley of Tennessee

  • And two sisters: Jo Ann Condra and Janice Roberts, of both of Windsor
