Board Member Larry Russell Bryant changed his position after voting against the action in the board's meeting Thursday, August 13, 2015. The vote Commissioners David Jones and Mike Newton again cast votes to resubmit the contract to the PSC.

The board voted to authorize General Manager Lenny Newton to sign necessary documents.

The board has will meet in a special called meeting in a few days to select an attorney to handle the legal paperwork for the application. Commissioner Mike Newton said that he would not want Attorney Damon Talley's law firm to handle the case since they had been dead set against the submission of the contract to the PSC for final approval.
