Public hearing on ACHS Welding & Metal Fabrication Building

Event supports Lake Cumberland Area Development grant requirement.
'I sure hope we can have a big turnout in support of Adair County Schools as the new economic engine in Adair County. . . This will keep our energy up as we prepare to move forward on a Community Learning Center housing numerous technical programs from colleges and universities, especially KCTCS, on our campus.' - ALAN W. REED

By Alan W. Reed, Superintendent, Adair County Schools

As we close out the new Welding and Metal Fabrication building, please note there is a public hearing next Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 6pmCT in the basement of the courthouse annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY.

It would be great if some of you could drop by and join other community leaders and students to make recorded comments about what the project has meant to our district and economic development for our county.

The LCADD (ADD district is required to hold this event as part of the grant requirement. Given the vital part our new career pathways play in the Work-Ready Community process, I sure hope we can have a big turnout in support of Adair County Schools as the new economic engine in Adair County.

This will keep our energy up as we prepare to move forward on a Community Learning Center housing numerous technical programs from colleges and universities, especially KCTCS, on our campus.

We appreciate all the support shown by our community members and trust that the improvements on our campus will pay big economic dividends by preparing our students with the highly technical, in-demand skills industries and businesses are looking for!

Sincerely,

- Alan W. Reed, Superintendent
Adair County Schools, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY 42728 270-384-2476
