Joyce Loy comments on Columbia, KY gas prices Joyce Loy writes: Ed, that was Monday and this afternoon, Tuesday until 4:30pm. I drove past Fivestar at 4:30 this evening and gas was $2.25. Went past Speedway and it was $2.39 a gallon. Came back thru at 5:05pm and Fivestar was up to $2.39. Gas prices do not change that often. While in the middle of all this, the news said oil prices had fallen. I know I don't save anything but I personally never purchase gas in Columbia.
