Walker Street residents ask for slower school traffic From Theresa and Chris Ingermann and all the other residents of Walker Street, Columbia, KY I would like to address the traffic on Walker Street by all the schools. This is the main street used by most morning and afternoon bus traffic as well as parents and high school students. Please, please, people slow down. I can say at least 90% of cars as well as busses speed down this street at least 10 miles over the limit. We have a hill that is hard for either direction of traffic to see if anyone is stopped or if a child is playing. Since this is the start of the school year maybe this can be stopped before someone gets hurt. This story was posted on 2015-08-11 15:48:44
