Barry Wade Dobson, Green Co., 1961-2015

Barry Wade Dobson was born November 15, 1961 in Barren County, KY to Rachel Hall Dobson and the late Wilton Quincy Dobson.  He departed this life Saturday August 1, 2015 in Green County, KY, at age 53.

Funeral services was held at 10 amCT August 5, 2015 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 West Court Street, Greensburg, KY
. Visitation was from 4pm until 8pmCT Tuesday, August 4, and after 7amCT until the time of the funeral. The officiating clergy was  Bro. Greg Whitlow
.Interment is in Wilson Cemetery, Green County, KY
. Pallbearers are  Keith White, David Dobson, Josh Dobson, Dennis Hedgespeth, Brian Bradshaw, Austin Bell and Ethan Bell
. Honorary pallbearers:  Crystal Walker, Heather Allen, Chris Allen, Richie Allen, Bill Sturgill, Margaret Sturgill, Mattie Bell, Alexis Walker, Patrick Walker, Clint Sturgill, Randall Joe Milby.




Barry had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church.  He had worked as a carpenter for Sturgill Home Improvements. 

Besides his father, he is preceded in death by one infant sister, Kathy Lynn Dobson.



He is survived by the following:
  • His daughter and son-in-law:  Samara and Robbie Bell of Campbellsville, KY

  • His mother:  Rachel Hall Dobson of Summersville, KY

  • Three grandchildren:  Ethan Dobson, Austin and Mattie Bell

  • Brother and sister-in-law:  Philip and Linda Dobson of Greensburg, KY

  • Nephew and niece:  Josh and Jennifer Dobson

  • Great nephew:  Grady Dobson

  • Fiancee:  Tina Allen of Summersville, KY

  • Four step children:  Richie Allen, Crystal and Patrick Walker, Chris Allen and Heather Allen

  • Six step grandchildren:  Cheyenne Bell, Lexie and  Isaac Walker, Kaylee and Piper Patterson and Kason Posey




The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home for funeral expenses, Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY 42743
