Anna Sue (Ann) Melton, 66, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, July 31, 2015 at 3:06amCT, at the Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room, Columbia, KY.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 2pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Gene Conover officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Sunday, at the funeral home.


Casket Bearers: D.J. Young, Jeff Coffey, Michael Dial, Brian Harvey, Leon Spencer, and Deamon Spencer.

Anna Sue (Ann) Melton, 66, Adair Co., KY (1948-2015)

She was born Sunday, August 8, 1948, in Albany, Clinton County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Virgil and Rhoda Sidwell Melton. She died Friday, July 31, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 66 years, 11 months, and 23 days.

She was a former caregiver and homemaker. Survivors include:
  • One son: Allen Burton of Columbia, KY

  • Three daughters: Nicole Burton & Vicki Jeffries both of Columbia, Teresa Harvey of Greensburg, KY

  • One sister: Mary Spencer of Cundiff, KY

  • One half-brother: Christopher Stephens of Russell Springs, KY

  • One half-sister: Pamela Miller of Russell Springs, KY

  • Special caregiver: Maria Steinbacher

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Seven great-grandchildren
