Carol Sue Bennett, 60, Adair Co., KY (1955-2015)

She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. She was a member of a large, respected and steadfast SW Adair County family. She was the daughter of the late Lee & Delcie Jessie England. Her husband, Coy Bennett, survives. She leaves three direct living descendants.

Coy Bennett Carol Sue Bennett, 60, of Columbia, died Monday, July 27, 2015 at 4:44amCT at the Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room, Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Bill Scott officiating. Burial will be in Leatherwood Cemetery, near Nell, Adair County, KY. Visitation will be after 9amCT, Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the funeral home. Family members will serve as casket bearers.

She was born Wednesday, January 12, 1955, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Lee & Delcie Jessie England. She died Monday, July 27, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 60 years, six months, and 15 days.

She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband: Coy Bennett of Columbia, KY

  • Two daughters: Crystal & Amanda Bennett both of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Steve England of Louisville, KY, & Doug Sneed of Maine

  • One sister: Barbara England of Columbia, KY

  • One grandchild: Zayne Lee
