Funeral services are Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ivan Tucker the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Cane Valley Cemetery, 83 Cane Valley Cemetery Road, Cane Valley, KY. The family requests visiting from 4pmCT till 8pmCT, on Friday and after 6amCT, Saturday, until the funeral time at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Jeanice Murrell, 73, Adair County, KY (1942-2015) She was born in Cane Valley, Adair County, KY on April 15, 1942, the daughter of the late Elza and Myrtle Watson Hare. She died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 73 years, three months, and seven days. She was preceded in death by her step father Gaither Hancock and her husband: Gene Murrell in 2001. Jeanice was a member of the Cane Valley Christian Church where she participated in the J O Y Circle, she was a registered nurse and worked with various home health agencies in the area for many years, she was a past president of the Columbia Women's Club and was a volunteer for the Adair County Food Pantry. She is survived by the following:
