Mrs. Patty Jean (Pat) Brown Wilson, 82, Cumberland Co., KY (1932-2015)

She was a Net Shop Owner in California, a School Dietitian for the Cumberland County School System and a Store Clerk for Sewell's Grocery and Fudge's Grocery in Cumberland County, KY. She was a native of Cumberland County, and her final resting place will be in Cumberland County. She was a member of a large, respected Cumberland County family. Her husband of a two weeks short of 66 years, Junior Wilson, survives. She leaves 32 direct living descendants, spanning four generations.

Mrs. Patty Jean "Pat" Brown Wilson, age 82, of Glasgow, Kentucky, formerly of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at N.H.C. Health Care in Glasgow, Kentucky.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 12pmNoonCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, with burial in the Dutch Creek Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 4:30pmCT on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 until the funeral hour on Thursday.



Mrs. Patty Jean (Pat) Brown Wilson, 82, Burkesville, KY (1932-2015)


She was born in Cumberland County, KY, on Sunday, July 31, 1932. She was the daughter of Elva Ritchie and Edna Jeffries Bryant Brown. She died Tuesday, July 21, 20-15, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 82 years, 11 months, and 21 days.

She was a Net Shop Owner in California, a School Dietitian for the Cumberland County School System and a Store Clerk for Sewell's Grocery and Fudge's Grocery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Russell Brown, Rondel Brown, Waldon Brown and her grandchildren, Eric Scott, Jeff Scott and Dawnielle Sweet.

She is survived by her husband, Junior Wilson of Glasgow, Kentucky, whom she married on Saturday, July 23, 1949, and the following:
  • Her three children: Pamela "Pam" (and Dale) Scott of Burkesville, Kentucky; Richard "Rich" (and Pam) Wilson of Bloomington, Indiana; Dale Robert (and Debra) Wilson of Celina, Tennessee

  • Her nine grandchildren: Derrick (and Melissa) Scott, Joe (and Michelle) Anderson, Tamara Jo (and Joey) Davis, Stephanie (and Mike) Naldonado, Andrew Wilson, Ryan (and Toni) Wilson, Michael Wilson, Dale, Jr. "D. J." (and Ginger) Wilson, Lavanna (and Andy) Hazel

  • Her 18 great-grandchildren: Destiny Walden, Makayla Cockrill, Kesley Cockrill, Creed Scott, Kevin Graham, Kolton Graham, Brayden Davis, Lauryn Davis, Morgan Hunter, Lily Wilson, Khloe Wilson, Autumn Grace Scott, Devin Naldonado, Bayleigh Naldonado, Kruz Naldonado, William Hazel, Eva Hazel, Jacob Bailey

  • Her two great-great-grandchildren, Makynlee and Oliver
