She died Monday, July 20, 2015, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 69 years, six months, and 15 days. She was the present Cumberland County Circuit Court Clerk. She had served as a deputy circuit court clerk for twenty years before becoming clerk in 2010. She was a member of Twin Lakes Grace Fellowship Church in Albany, KY. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her other loving parents, Melvin Shelley and Velma Smith Shelley, six siblings, Bob Hurt, Junior Hurt, Priscella Keck, Nealie Hendershot, Dennis Shelley, and Murl Shelley, Two brothers-in-law, Ron McCoy and Dennis Tschetter.
