Martha (Marty) Elizabeth Roach, Green Co., KY (1962-2015)

She was a native of Indiana and a resident of Green County, KY at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Roach and Susanne "Susie"Robinson Roach. She leaves eight direct living descendants.

Martha "Marty" Elizabeth Roach, 53, of Greensburg, Kentucky, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana, departed this life on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at her home in Green County, Kentucky.

Cremation was chosen. No formal services are scheduled.

Martha "Marty" Elizabeth Roach of Greensburg, Kentucky, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was the daughter of the late Arthur Roach and Susanne "Susie" Robinson Roach. She was born on April 7, 1962 in Indiana, and departed this life on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at her home in Green County, Kentucky. She was 53 years, three months, and eight days of age.

She was raised in New Haven, Indiana, but spent most of her adult years in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She moved to Greensburg, Kentucky in 2012. She is survived by the following:
  • A daughter: Sonya Marie Roach Morrison of Greensburg, KY

  • A son: Arther "Art" Guy Bair of North Dakota

  • Grandchildren: Aryanna and Carmon Bair, Misty Rose Hanley, Jessie Curtis Hanley, Jeremiah Xavier Roach, and Dion Leroy Roach

  • A sister: Cheri Roach Thompson of Alabama

  • Brothers: David Roach of New Haven, and Kirby Roach of Indian

  • Five nephews: Chris Melcher, Brent Melcher, Logan Roach, Brandon McCann, Ben Schimmoller

  • Four nieces: Jennifer Roach Thurber, Jessica Roach, Chrystal Roach, and Michelle Roach.

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother: Arthur Leroy Roach; a sister: Joy Ellen Roach Schimmoller, and a niece: Stephanie Schimmoller, Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, Kentucky in charge of the arrangements.
