His wife of over 45 years, Lena Singleton Montgomery, survives. He leaves eight direct living descendants. He was a retired factory worker. Paul enjoyed working in his yard and caring for his flowers.

Paul J. Montgomery passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at his home in Casey County, KY. He was 72.

Cremation Rites was honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. No services are scheduled at this time.

Paul J. Montgomery, 72, Casey County, KY (1943-2015)

Born January 6, 1943 in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, he was the son of the late Herschel and Mattie Jane Anderson Montgomery. He died Sunday, July 19, 2015, in Libery, Casey County, KY, at the age of 72 years, six months, and 13 days.

He was a retired factory worker. Paul enjoyed working in his yard and caring for his flowers.

Survivors include:
  • His beloved wife: Lena Singleton Montgomery, whom he married October 18, 1969

  • A son: Dougie Montgomery of Lincoln County, KY

  • A daughter: Melissa Gonterman of Scipio, IN

  • Four grandchildren

  • Two great-grandchildren

  • A brother: Howard Montgomery of Greenwood, IN

  • And a sister, Martha Hill of Shelbyville, IN
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a great-grandson.
