Roy Eldon Fox, 57, of Russell Springs, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral service for Roy Eldon Fox will be 1pmCT, Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Asa Wooten officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Tuesday. Burial will be in Square Oak Cemetery. Special music will be by Special Music: Star Popplewell, Phyllis Meeks, Tammy Egnew, Wayne Baird, and Opal Wallace.


Pallbearers: Marvin Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Jeremy Flanagan, Taylor Ragle, Mark Flanagan, and John David Hale

Roy Eldon Fox, 57, Russell County, KY (1957-2015)

He was born Thursday, October 3, 1957 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. He was the son of the late Cuthburt Eldon & Beatrice Audeen Popplewell Fox. He died Saturday, July 18, 2015, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 57 years, nine months, and 15 days.

He was a farmer and a member of Ono Community Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Jane Flanagan Fox, and the following:
  • Three sons: Roy Eldon (Heather) Fox, Jr., Kody (Brittany) Fox, and Bobby (Ellie) Flanagan, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Alexis, Abby Jane, Aicen, and Wyatt Fox, Noah and Julien Flanagan

  • Two sisters: Cathy (Lloyd) Coffey, Jamestown, KY; and Penny (Gordon) Lester, Russell Springs, KY

  • One brother: Tim Fox, Bowling Green, KY
