Bernice Underwood, 69, Taylor County, KY (1946-2015)

She was a member of the Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Howard Lee Hedgespeth and Letha Belle Sprowles Hedgespeth. Her husband over 50 years, Donald Underwood, survives. She leaves four direct and three step living descendants.

Bernice Underwood, 69, Campbellsville, KY, died Friday, July 17, 2015 in Somerset, KY.

The funeral service will be at 10amCT/11amET, Monday, July 20, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Michael Ticknor. Burial will be in teh Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Sunday, July 19, 2015, and after 6amCT/7amET, Monday.


Bernice Underwood, 69, Taylor County, KY (1946-2015)

Bernice Underwood, daughter of the late, Howard Lee Hedgespeth and Letha Belle Sprowles Hedgespeth was born Thursday, March 21, 1946 in Taylor County, KY. She died Friday, July 17, 2015 in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 69 years, three months, and 27 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Roberts Baptist Church.

She united in marriage to Donald Underwood February 28, 1965.

Besides her husband, Donald Underwood of Campbellsville, she is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: James Underwood and wife, Tammy and Stephen Underwood and girlfriend, Tina Kerns

  • One grandson: Scott Lee Underwood, and girlfriend, Sarah Cain

  • Two step-grandchildren: Justin and Kobe

  • One step-great-grandson: Alec

  • One brother: James Hedgespeth

  • A sister-in-law: Mary Lois Underwood

  • A special friend, Ann Milby

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by a sister, Aileen Allen. Send condolences to the family of Bernice Underwood
