Campbellsville, KY man arrested on Cybercrimes charge Accused of possession of Child Pornography. A charge is merely an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. By Allison Martin, Communications Director From Attorney General Jack Conway's Office Attorney General Jack Conway and his Cybercrimes Unit today announced the arrest of a Campbellsville man for possessing child pornography. Cary W. Pembleton, 54, was arrested yesterday by Attorney General Conway's Cybercrimes investigators after they executed a search warrant at his residence in Campbellsville. The charges are the result of an investigation that began in June of 2015. Investigators with the Cybercrimes Unit, along with the Kentucky State Police, executed search warrants at Pembleton's home looking for computers and other equipment used to possess and distribute images and videos of exploited children. Electronic devices were seized at his home, and Cybercrimes examiners will perform forensic analysis on those seized electronic devices. Pembleton is charged with 100 counts of possession of child pornography. The defendant will be arraigned in Taylor District Court on July 20, 2015, at 7pmET. He is currently being held on a $20,000 bond. The case is currently being prosecuted by the Office of Taylor County Attorney Craig Cox. This story was posted on 2015-07-16 10:28:46
