CJE Mike Stephens names Sharon Burton to hospital board (c) ColumbiaMagazine.com Adair County Judge Executive Mike Stephens filled a long vacant seat on the Adair County Public Hospital District Board of Trustees, recommending editor/publisher Sharon Burton for the open position. The nomination was unanimously approved by all seven magistrates: Harold Burton (1), Daryl Flatt (2), Sammy Baker (3), Perry Reeder (4), Billy Dean Coffey (5), Greg Caldwell (6), and Terry Flatt (7). Burton's term is for four years, until July 2019. She joins Richard Grant, chair, whose term August 2012- August 2015; Brad Keltner, November 2012-November 2016; Bruce White, January 1, 2012- January 1 2016; and David Herbst, November 13, 2012-November 13, 2015.
