Breeding, KY area hit by EF-0 tornado July 13, 2015 Winds readed 70-80 miles per hour. Tornado destroyed one outbuilding in addition to uprooting and snapping limbs on several trees Click on headline for complete report with NWS' Joe Sullivan's complete preliminary report By Mike Keltner Adair County Emergency Management Director Meteorologist Joe Sullivan, his survey team, Breeding Fire Department and Adair County Emergency Management were in the Breeding Community on July 13, 2015, conducting a damage survey. The National Weather Service Survey Team determined that the Breeding Community had an EF-0 tornado. This tornado was part of the severe storm that passed through Monday evening. An EF-0 tornado is considered a weak tornado on the enhanced fujita scale with 65 to 85 MPH winds. I would like to thank the Breeding Fire Department for their help in yesterday's survey and debris removal the night of the incident. Included below is Joe Sullivan's preliminary NWS Report. EF Scale Rating: EF-0Survey Summary: This small tornado destroyed one outbuilding in addition to uprooting and snapping limbs on several trees in a very narrow path near the community of Breeding in southwest Adair County.
