Marvin Devon Coleman, age 72 of Danville, KY, passed away on Tuesday July 7th, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held 11amCT/12pm noon CT, Friday July 10, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Yosemite. Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will be in the Salyers Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 4pm-8pm/5pm-9pmET, Thursday July 9, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, and after 9amCT/10amET, on Friday July 10, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Yosemite, KY.

Marvin Devon Coleman, Casey County, KY (1942-2015)

Marvin Devon Coleman, was born in Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, IN on July 20, 1942. He was the son of the late Marvin and Reba Bea Wall Coleman. He died Tuesday, July 7, 2015, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 72 years, 11 months, and 17 days.

He was a truck driver and a member of First Baptist Church of Yosemite.

Survivors include:
  • His Spouse: Joyce Miller Coleman

  • Two daughters: Tricia Sheene and Evon Bottom both of Yosemite, KY

  • One son: Johnny Coleman of Science Hill, KY

  • Three step-children: Robert McAninch of Rose Hill, KY; Curtis McAninch of Berea, KY; and Michael McAninch of Junction City, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Seven step-grandchildren

  • Fifteen great-granchildren

  • and fourteen step-great-grandchildren

  • and One brother: Leon Coleman of Yosemite, KY
Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother, Dean Coleman.
