Adair County Clerk's office: Internet up, working smoothly

Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer announces that the internet in her office is up and running this morning, Wednesday, July 8, 2015, and that the office is handling transactions smoothly, with a steady stream of business this morning.

The office had intermittent service and then no service at all yesterday, with internet technicians in Frankfort and in Columbia working with internet service providers to pinpoint the problem, which was apparently affecting on the Adair County Clerk's office.

"I got a call at 4:30 this morning," Clerk Greer said. "They had been up all night. They found the problem on dedicated lines between Frankfort and here."

She said that Frankfort I.T. personnel had made the Columbia outage its top priority.

The Clerk's Office is at Suite 3, Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. The phone is 270-384-2801. Hours are Mon-Friday, 8am-4:30pmCT, and Saturdays, 8:30am-12pm noon CT.
