Garmon played four years of varsity golf at Adair County High School

By Charles Balcom
News from Lindsey Wilson College

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team added local Columbia, Ky., native Tanner Garmon to the roster for the upcoming 2015-16 season, head coach Eric Wyrick announced on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

Garmon comes from Adair County High School where he played all four years on the varsity squad for the Indians.

"I am very excited to have Tanner join our program," Wyrick said. "I have been able to watch him play for a couple of years now and I know that he is a good fit for our program."

Garmon has competed in multiple summer tournament series, including the 2014 Kentucky Golf Coaches Association Senior All-Star Invitational this past season.

"He works very hard on his game and because of that work ethic I know that he will excel with what we want to achieve as a team," Wyrick said. "Garmon has a lot of tournament experience and has played against some strong competition and because of that atmosphere I am confident he is prepared to bring his game to the collegiate level."
