Lewis Hartford age 64 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Graveside service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11amCT, at Burkesville Cemetery, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Jim Simpson officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Lewis Hartford, 64, Cumberland Co., KY (1950-2015)

He was born on Sunday, July 16, 1950 in Westland, Wayne County, MI. He was the son of the late Sam Hartford and Margaret Teeples Hartford. He died Wednesday, June 10, 2015, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 64 years, 10 months, and 25 days.

He was a former employee of Broad Corporation.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Hartford.

Survivors include:
  • One daughter: Lisa Hartford of Dearborn, MI

  • One son: Lewis Hartford, Jr. of Taylor, MI

  • One half sister: Betty Muse of Burkesville, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
