Russell Price, 90, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Liberty Care Center, Liberty, KY.

Funeral services are 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Tuesday, May, 26, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Casey County Memorial Gardens with military honors by the Caswell-Saufley VFW Post 18. Visitation is 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Monday.

He was born February 7, 1925 in Casey County, KY. He was the son of the late Archie Price and Lucy Thompson Price. He died Saturday, May 23, 2015, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 90 years, three months, and 16 days.

He was a farmer and a member of the Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. Mr. Price was a highly decorated WWII Army veteran. Survivors include the following:
  • A son, David (and Donna) Price of Liberty, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Scott (and Jamie) Price, Shelia Myles, Shannon Price, and Becky (and Tom) Funkhouser

  • Eight great-grandchildren: Alex Price, Adam Price, Andrew Price, Gabby Myles, Hailey Myles, Lauren Myles, Blake Price and Ian Funkhouser

  • A brother: Roger (and Wanda) Price

  • A special daughter: Joyce (and Rob) Dilbert
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Cain Price; a son, Danny Price; one sister, Elizabeth Lazarou; and brothers, Georgie Price, Harold Price and Jackie Price.
