Roy Michael Thompson, age 58, of Tompkinsville, KY died Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at his residence.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 3pmCT, at McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY. Burial will follow in the Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Visitation will begin Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 11pmCT, and continue until time of services.

Roy Michael Thompson, Tompkinsville, KY (1957-2015)

Born February, 18, 1957 in Tompkinsville, Monroe County, KY, he was a son of the late Frank Marrs and Mary Ida Thompson. He died Wednesdaym, May 20, 2015, in Tompkinsville, Monroe County, KY, at the age of 58 years, three months, and two days.

He was the husband of Linda Susan Miller, who survives.

Survivors in addition to his wife, include the following:
  • One daughter: Frankie Michelle Thompson (Adrian Alejandre), Scottsville, KY

  • Two sisters: Linda Hale, Tompkinsville, KY; and Lorraine Myatt, Glasgow, KY

  • Two brothers: Bobby and Mitchell Thompson, Tompkinsville, KY

  • And two grandchildren: Zeke Sanchez and Adrian Alejandre
He was preceded in death by one son, Nathan Thompson.
