Sugarfoot Farm Rescue cleaned up 3 miles of roadside trash on Sparksville-Fairplay Road (KY 768) today.

Although several people signed up to volunteer, Jade Minshall is the only person who showed up.

Jade has been my #1 Pride Cleanup volunteer having volunteered every time we do it.

We endeavored occasional rain storms, ticks, poison ivy, and one snake.

Despite the fact that Adair County is dry we picked up more than a fair share of beer bottles, beer cans, and liquor bottles, mostly bourbon.

Our most interesting find was a bag from California. It traveled all that way just to end up on the side of the road in Sparksville.

Jade is in the sixth grade and is the son of Kory and Susan Minshall. - Peg Schaeffer, President and Founder, Sugarfoot Farm Rescue
