Man in black clothing with gun shot him, E-town man says

Victim says he was awakened by rock thrown through window. When he investigated, he was met by a man dressed in black with a gun, who shot him. Victim airlifted to UL Hospital. Kentucky State Police Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY - (Wed 13 May 2015) - KentickyState Police Post 4 is investigating a shooting which occurred at a residence in Elizabethown. On Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at approximately 1:40amET, KSP Post 4 received a call of a subjet who had been shot at his residence at 208 Milton Avenue.



The victim, Gary Bickett, 50, state to responding Troopers and Detectives that someone threw a rock through his front window. When the victim went outside to investigate he encountered what he described as a man dressed in black clothing with a gun.

The victim then stated that the man fired a shot which struck him.

Mr. Bicket suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was treated by Hardin County EMS. He was later airlifed to University of Louisville Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

During the course fo the investigaton detectives also found marijuana plants growing outside of the residence as well as an indoor marijuana grow.
R The marijuana grow operation was dismantled and processed by members of the Hardin County Narcotics Task Force.
