ACHS Air & Space Academy will be 40th Career Path at school Prospective Air & Space Academy candidates visit Lake Cumberland Regional Airport on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Shamarie Claiborne, Media Publicity Coordinator Adair County School District, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY Next year during the 2015-2016 school year, everything is set for the Adair County High School to provide students with a 40th Career Path in Aerospace. With the excitement growing among students, Mr. Matthew Willis, Air & Space Academy Co-Director, decided to take prospective Air and Space Academy students to visit the Wing Design Competition at the Lake Cumberland Regional Airport in Somerset, KY this past Saturday May 9, 2015. They had the opportunity to observe the competition as well as see some awesome aircraft. Mr. Willis stated, "The students were inspired!" This is just another great reason Adair County Schools continue to be front runners in providing students with new and exciting Career Path options. Prospective students for the new Air and Space Academy at Adair County High School Trevor Cowan, Harrison Rich, Isaac Little, Samuel Willis, Dylan Pendleton and Zach Wilson attended the Wing Design Competition held at the Lake Cumberland Regional Airport in Somerset, KY this past Saturday.
