Audrey White Jones, Campbellsville, KY (1924-2015)

She was born in Adair County, KY and was a resident of Campbellsville, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late William Elzie "Bud" Bailey and Nona Roy Bailey. She leaves 28 direct living descendants, spanning four generations. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. She was an excellent seamstress and worked at Handmacher's and Jane and Linda's Sportswear in Lebanon and Polk's in Campbellsville.

Audrey White Jones, 91, of Campbellsville, KY died at 5:55amET, Friday, May 8, 2015 in Bowling Green, KY.

The funeral services is at 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville by Bro. Dave Walters. Burial will be Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Sunday May 10, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Audrey White Jones, Taylor Co., KY (1924-2015)


She was the daughter of the late William Elzie "Bud" Bailey and Nona Roy Bailey, She was born March 6, 1924, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died Friday, May 8, 2015, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 91 years, two months, and two days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. She was an excellent seamstress and worked at Handmacher's and Jane and Linda's Sportswear in Lebanon and Polk's in Campbellsville.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons and one daughter: Mike White and wife, Sharon and Gary White of Campbellsville, KY; and Suzy W. Bracey and husband, John of Goodlettsville, TN

  • Six grandchildren: Marsha Black and husband, Brian; Rhonda Craig and husband, George, David White and Damon White and wife, Tammy, all of Campbellsville, KY; Keith White and wife, Karen of Indiana; and Andy Knifley and wife, Riley of Olmstead, KY

  • Fifteen great grandchildren

  • Four great-great grandchildren

  • One sister: Jewell Stults of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers: Ocilla Hensley, Frances Wettington, Orbie Ray Bailey, Rollin Bailey, James Bailey, Jack Bailey, Carl Bailey and Elba Bailey.
