She was a native of Normal, IL, and a resident of Liberty, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late James Clyde and Stacy Watson Foster. Her husband, Arthur Lee Wesley, survives. She leaves 17 direct living descendants. She was a housewife and member of Valley Oak Baptist Church.

Wilma Wesley, age 85, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday May 9, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Troy Merrick and Bro. Fred Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Friday May 8, 2015 and after 7amCT/8amET, Saturday May 9, 2015, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born in Normal, McLean County, IL on Thursday, December 5, 1929. She was a daughter of the late James Clyde and Stacy Watson Foster. She died Thursday, May 7, 2015, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 85 years, five months, and two days.

She was a housewife and member of Valley Oak Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Lee Wesley, and the following:
  • One son: Kenny Ray and (Debbie) Wesley of Liberty, KY

  • One daughter: Berdina Sue and (Fred) Shelton of Liberty, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Five great-grandchildren

  • One brother: Dale and (Glennis) Foster of Bethelridge, KY
