Sharon Whitehurst on Gradyville Odd Bird: Likely an escapee

Settling the issue of the Odd Bird's Identity is more to her liking than the Hot Button issues of these time

Sharon Whitehurst writes:
We have friends in the county who raise some exotic fowls. In seeing Matt and Gina's photos on FB they commented that Diamond Doves are also imported and raised. I suspect an escapee. Not wanting to argue--but any photos I can pull up of Rock Pigeons don't show the particular markings of this bird. With so many 'hot button' topics in the news, discussion to identify a bird or plant is more to my liking! --Sharon Whitehurst
