Edgar Johnson, age 72, died Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Liberty Care Center. Funeral services are 1pmCT/2pmET, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Marshall Malone and Bro. Garry Allen officiating. Burial will be in Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, May 5, 2015, from 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, at the funeral home.

Edgar Johnson, Casey County, KY (1942-2015)

He was born November 17, 1942, in Casey County, KY. He was the son the late William Levi Johnson and Vera Elizabeth Stafford Johnson. He died Monday, May 4, 2015, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 72 years, 7 months, and 17 days.

He was a farm worker and a member of the Liberty First Church of God.

Survivors include the following
  • Three sisters, Louise Johnson of Liberty, Pauline (and Rev. Coy) Rigney of Liberty, KY; and Helen Marie (and Franklin) Griffin of Hustonville, KY
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Glen William Johnson.

In lieu of flower, donation may be given to Gideon International for Bibles in memory of Mr. Edgar Johnson.
