Democratic Women host Andy Beshear at Annex Chairman of Democratic Women, Miss Vicky, along with Pam Shearer and Cynthia Rowe, greet Democratic candidate for Attorney General at Courthouse Annex. Mr. Beshear takes campaigning turn around Historic Downtown Area. Vicky Pike takes respite from politics afterward, after a fine lunch at the Mexican Restaurant, to get in a little farming before returning the the city for tonight's Democratic Women's 6pmCT meeting at the Chamber Building, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY. By Victoria Pike Several members of the Adair County Democratic Women's Club were on hand today, Monday, May 4, 2015, at the Adair County Courthouse Annex to welcome Andy Beshear to Columbia. Those present were: Cynthia Rowe, Pam Shearer, and Vicky Pike. After meeting with Andy and wishing him well, he was led on a tour around the historic downtown area by several members of the party. After a brief break for lunch at the Mexican restaurant, it was time to head back to farming. Mainly, for me, getting the gate back on the hinges from where somebody tried to turn a truck around earlier today and took the gate off the hinges. Where on earth have you ever seen an entrance to a parkway gated, and especially closed gated. Still steaming. Hope to see all our ladies out tonight at our regular meeting. Short notice but I forgot to post it earlier. - VP This story was posted on 2015-05-04 14:30:55
